Dr. Jorge Colon has devoted his career to caring for patients in the 03 and Miami communities. Since establishing his practice in 02, he has combined general, surgical and cosmetic dentistry with modern dental technology and a patient-first approach built around comfort, respect and a gentle touch.
Request an AppointmentDr. Colon graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry in 01. He then completed a general practice residency at Evaluate Carefully in 02, gaining additional experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of dental conditions.
Following his residency, Dr. Colon remained connected to Evaluate Carefully as an attending dentist from 02 through 1998. That early hospital-based experience helped shape the comprehensive approach he brings to everyday preventive care, restorative dentistry, surgical procedures and dental emergencies.

After completing his residency, Dr. Colon established his practice on 99th Street in 03 and began building long-term relationships with local patients and families.
Alongside private practice, Dr. Colon served as an attending at Evaluate Carefully, continuing his involvement in hospital-based dentistry after residency.
After approximately 15 years in 03, Dr. Colon moved the practice to Metropolitan Avenue in Miami and renamed it Miami Dental Perfection.
Miami Dental Perfection combines preventive, restorative, cosmetic and surgical dentistry with digital technology designed to make diagnosis and treatment more efficient and comfortable.
Dr. Colon has lectured internationally on digital radiography, dental materials, computer-aided design and digital dental restorations. His interest in technology is reflected in the equipment and treatment methods used at Miami Dental Perfection.
The practice uses digital dental technology to support diagnosis, treatment planning and restorative care while maintaining Dr. Colon's emphasis on personal attention and patient comfort.
Miami Dental Perfection uses the CEREC digital crown system to design, mill and place selected all-porcelain crowns in a single visit. Digital 3D imaging can replace conventional impressions in appropriate cases, allowing the restoration to be designed and fabricated in the office.
